Tobias Vincent Maguire (Santa Monica27 June 1975) is an American actor and producer. He won Saturn Awards for his roles in Spider-Man 2 and Pleasantville and was nominated for a Golden Globe in 2010 for his role in the film Brothers.

Biography[Edit]Edit

When Maguire was born, his father his mother Wendy and Vincent were respectively 18 and 20 years old. Their relationship held only two years and Maguire was primarily raised by his mother. Maguire has left high school without a diploma to pursue his dream career as an actor. He got in the early 1990s mainly in guest roles, including the television series General HospitalBlossom and Roseanne. He also followed his mother's drama courses in his spare time. In 1993 he auditioned for the lead role in This boy's Life. He got the part not-this went to Leonardo DiCaprio -but if a small supporting role play. In 2002, Maguire the role of Spider-Man in Spider-Man the movie of the same name bestowed upon them. This he finally broke through in Hollywood. For his first film Spider-Man, he was given a salary of $ 4 million, but for part two he received a gage of 17 million dollars.

Maguire had a brief relationship with his co-star in Spider-Man, Kirsten Dunst. He is currently married to jewelry designer Jennifer Meyer. They have a daughter and a son.

Maguire has been good friends with actors Leonardo Dicaprio and Kevin Connolly.
