Rihanna was born in Saint Michael, Barbados. She has two older brothers. Rihanna sat on a gymnasium. In 2004, she won a beauty contest and she sang during her school's talent show, Mariah Careys Hero. On October 20, was the first single released Russian Roulette . Just before the release of Rated r. came Hard, a collaboration with rapper Young Jeezy in the United States, with a small success in several countries. This was followed by the single Rude Boy. This was a number one hit in many countries and was even a bigger success than the first single from the album. Later followed the single Te Amo, while in America the song Rockstar 101, a collaboration with Slash, came out. Wait Your Turn was the promotional single from the album. It peaked at number 17 in the United Kingdom.
Loud was released on 12 november in Netherlands and Belgium. The first single Only Girl (In the World) was released as a download on september 10, 2010. The previously leaked single who's That Chick?, a collaborative project with David Guetta was not on the album but was promotion for the Doritos and chipsmerk stood on the reissue of Guetta's ' album One Love. The second single was "what's My Name?, a duet with Drake. On the much-discussed third single leave Rihanna S & M itself from its most sexual side. The seventh album Unapologetic worldwide came out on 19 november 2012. It came out in Netherlands on 20 november. The album was 238 thousand times sold in the United States in the first week, making that week was her best selling week in her career. Rihanna was nominated for six Grammy Awardsin 2007: Record of the Year, Best R & B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals (for Hate That I Love You), Best Dance Recording), Song of the Year, Best R & B Song.
