"Retrograde" is a song by English electronic music producer and singer-songwriter James Blake. The song was released as a Digital download on 11 February 2013 as the lead single from his second studio album Overgrown (2013). The song was written, produced and recorded by James Blake,[1] The song has peaked at number 87 on the UK Singles Chart, the song also peaked to number 10 in Denmark. The song has appeared in promos and during the pilot episode of The Leftovers. It is also featured on the sixth episode of the third season of Suits, "The Other Time", as well as the second episode of the first season of Masters of Sex, "Race to Space."

A music video to accompany the release of "Retrograde" was first released onto YouTube on 10 February 2013 at a total length of four minutes and three seconds. It was directed by Danish director Martin de Thurah.[2] On 15 February 2013 the Chelyabinsk meteor hit Russia leaving a double trail behind just like in the video released just 5 days prior.
