Mission: Impossible is an American television series that between 1966 and 1973 was broadcast by CBS1988 to 1990 's Mission: Impossible experienced a revival and appeared New Mission Impossible. The title music was written by Lalo Schifrin.

Mission: Impossible is about an elite group of secret agents known as the Impossible Missions Force (IMF). In the first season, the team led by Then Briggs (Steven Hill), and then Jim Phelps (Peter Graves). Their missions include disabling dictators and criminal organisations, freeing an imprisoned foreign diplomat in a fictional Communist country, or the interception of secret documents. The command, on a tape that after zero destroys itself ("This recording will self-destruct in five seconds...").
