How The Grinch Stole Christmas! is an American animated film (1966), directed by Chuck Jones and based on the novel of the same name by Dr. Seuss. The film was intended as a tv special on CBS in the US and is one of the most popular and most frequently-seen Christmas movies become. The film is largely narrated and sung by Boris Karloff.

Story[Edit]Edit

The Grinch is a being who hates Christmas. Because he hates the party so hard he decides to disguise himself as the Santa Claus and Christmas to steal. He goes to the nearby village and steals all the presents, Christmas trees and decorations in the hope that everyone will be unhappy because of this. To his surprise it turns out everyone just as Merry as before. The villagers sing with much joy Christmas songs and prove that the spirit of Christmas is about much more than just material things. The Grinch gets remorse, gives everything back and should take part in the festivities.
