Dwight Yorke (Canaan (Tobago), 3 november 1971) is a former football player from Trinidad and Tobago who has been active in the English Premier League and then went in Australia football striker.

He played for SunderlandAston VillaManchester UnitedBlackburn RoversBirmingham City and Sydney FC. In 2006 know old teammate Roy Keane to take him back to England to pursue his career at Sunderland. Yorke has 72 games for his home country Trinidad & Tobago. With his country he placed itself for the 2006 FIFA World Cupin Germany. On Tobago is a football stadium to Yorke named.

Especially in his time at Manchester United was Yorke successful. In the season 1998-1999 he was with this club champion, won the English Cup and the Champions League. In addition it was Yorke also that season (shared) top scorer in the English competition. Also in the two seasons after Yorke won the English Championship with this club.

His nickname is The Smiling Assassin (' the smiling Assassin ').
