The women's hockey League Championship in the season 1976/77 was decided through the Championship competition with Were Di as the winner.
The Dutch hockey (for the women) was split into four districts, each district which a private first class competition held. The champion and vice champion of each district then played against each other in a half competition for the decision to the national title.
(*) Were Di Dutch champion after weighing the results between Were Di, Pinoké and HTCC, namely: Were Di-HTCC HTCC, Pinoké 3-3-1-1 Were Di-Pinoké and 1-0.
