Charlotte Gray is a British-Australian-German historical drama film from 2001, directed by Gillian Armstrong. The story of this is based on the eponymous novel bySebastian Faulks. The film was nominated for the Golden Satellite Award for best lead actress (Cate Blanchett) and best supporting actor (Billy Crudup).


It is 1942, the Second World War is underway. France is occupied by the Nazis. The young Scottish Charlotte Gray wants to fight back and joins the Résistance.
