Avril Ramona Lavigne (Belleville (Ontario), september 27, 1984) is a Canadian singer-songwriter and actress.

Avril Lavigne was raised by conservative parents. She grew up with country music and singing in a church choir and taught himself how to play guitar . When she was 17 years old, she signed a recording contract with Arista Records, part of BMG. She moved to New York to work on an album.

Her efforts to write songs with the help of others that her wishes were failed. Therefore, she went to Los Angeles to write with help from Cliff Magness and a writing team, called The Matrix , which previously had written songs for Sheena Easton and Christina Aguilera.

They married on 15 July 2006 with Deryck Whibley, lead singer of the Canadian poppunkgroep Sum 41. They broke up In september 2009. Lavigne then gave up a relationship with Brody Jenner, who was broken in January 2012. In July 2013, she married Chad Kroeger, the lead singer of Nickelback.

On June 5, 2002, she released her first album Let Go out. Within six months they took out with the sales of the album quadruple Platinum. From the album appearedComplicatedSk8er BoiI'm With You and Losing Grip on single. From the album Let Go were sold 15 million copies worldwide. The album showed influences of pop rock,alternative and grunge. More than a month after appearance obtained in the United States Let Go the Platinum status. [4this makes it the fifth best selling album of 2003.[5In december 2003, the United States and more than 6.7 million times sold in the more than 16 million times worldwide.

On 25 May 2004, she published her second album Under My Skin, largely written in collaboration with Canadian singer-songwriter Chantal Kreviazuk. In addition, a couple of tracks written by Ben Moody ( Evanescencefounder), Butch Walker of Marvellous 3, her former lead guitarist Evan Taubenfeld and her former drummer Matt Brann.Kreviazuk, Raine Maida husband (lead singer of Our Lady Peace) co-produced the album along with Butch Walker and Don Gilmore.

This cd contained more than her first album rock songs with pop punk-and light post-grunge sounds. It debuted in thirteen countries on one. The group released four singles from this album: the first single Don't Tell MeMy Happy Endingnobody's Home and He Wasn't. On this album was also the song slipped away in memory of her deceased grandfather.

Lavigne went, to promote the album, touring in the United States and Canada in 21 cities. Each occurrence of these "Live and by Surprise"-tour consisted of a few short liveacoustic songs on the album. She was accompanied by her guitarist Evan Taubenfield. The performances were only published 48 hours before the beginning of the concert. The tour was very popular and successful as promotional tool. Selections of this tour are on her Avril Lavigne Live Acoustic ep.

Lavigne made known on 2 december 2004 in March 2005, after completing her Japanese tour, the studio would go for shooting for her third album. To do this, a lot of the songs they had already written during the European tour in the fall of 2004. Another part she had sung on her answering machine.

Lavignes third album, The Best Damn Thing, was released in mid-april 2007. The first single was Girlfriend. Avril described her album as naughty, up-tempo and soft but especially with its own style. The second single from The Best Damn Thing was When you're Gone, a rockballad. The third track was Hot and was released on October 5, 2007. The video clip of this is 8 september 2007 in New York. On 4 March 2008, her Best Damn Tour kicks off. She began her tour in the United States and then went to Europe and Asia. She stood on June 20, 2008 in the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam.On 9 september The Best Damn Tour dvd came out, featuring a live recording in Toronto, Canada.

Lavigne, who deposed at the beginning of her career against everything and everyone, is now starting to be quieter; She has her neckties exchanged for haute couture dresses from Gucci and is also now in addition to singer actress. She has a contract with modeling agency Ford Models and was a model for the make line by Chanel by autumn 2006. She has a film role in the crime film The Flock and a role as a waitress in Fast Food Nation played. She has the voice of Heather, a Possum in the animated film Over the Hedge, pronunciation. Finally, the song Keep Holding On lyrics for the movie Eragon . This is The Best Damn Thing.

The fourth album called Goodbye Lullaby and is published in March 2011. The first single What the Hell and the music video came out in January. Also followed Smile and Wish You Were Here.

On 30 april 2011 Lavignes Black Star Tour began in Asia, who then went by America and Europe, to promote her fourth studio album, Goodbye Lullay. On 11 september, she stood again in the Heineken Music Hall in Amsterdam with the band as the opening program MakeBelieve. The tour ended on 18 February 2012 in Malaysia.

On 4 August 2011 leaked Won't Let You Go and I Will Be out, which Leona Lewis as cover on formed in Chicago, Illinois. This has never been officially released.

Three months after the appearance of Goodbye Lullaby told them that they had already started on the new album. The musical would be the opposite of fifth album Goodbye Lullaby by instead of "softer and deeper, more pop and cheerful to be".

This would be his first album under Epic RecordsLavignes. The single "Wish You Were Here was also published by the same label, although the album was already on her old. [6In april 2012 she completed her fifth studio album. The first single from the new album was titled here's To Never Growing Up and came out on 9 april 2013. The associated video came out on 9 May. The album was scheduled for september 2013. Some song titles were announced in advance, namely ' Hello Kitty ', ' Bad Girl ' (ft. Marilyn Manson), ' Let Me Go ' (ft. husband Chad Kroeger), ' Give What You Like ', ' 17 ', ' Rock 'n Roll ' and ' here's To Never Growing Up '. The song ' 17 ' performed at her show brought them all in the Viper Room. ' Rock 'n Roll ' is the 2nd single from their fifth Studio album. ' Rock 'n Roll ' came out on 18 July 2013. The new album will be named Avril Lavigne . Her album was announced on 24 October.

Since late 2009, Lavigne Black StarPerfume: a. The scent smells like flowers and fruit. In June 2010 a new scent from, Forbidden Rose. [7on August 15, 2011 Avril spent her third perfume, which is called Wild Rose .

Since 2008, Avril a private clothing line, Abbey Dawn. This line has them myself booted and she designs the clothes themselves. It is intended for teenage girls, and all the way on Avrils style based. She wears the clothes than in video clips, at events and on the street. Abbey began as part of Kohl'sAbbey Dawn was the nickname they used got from her father. She wanted to use the name for her first child, but in the end, it's gone to this project. Avril also bears the name, the logo of the line, as a tattoo on her arm.

Since the start of the Abbey Dawn-site, which delivers to countries all over the world, the clothing line no longer sold at Kohl 's. In Japan there is an Abbey Dawn store, which is the only store where they sell Abbey Dawn yet. Lavigne also had an Alice in Wonderlandcollection. She plans in 2011 every month a small collection back.

Meanwhile, Abbey Dawn also sold in many other countries in Europe, including the Netherlands and Belgium. The Abbey Dawn site is there already a while out, and it is unclear whether the clothing line will make a new collection yet. The last collection was spring 2013.
